In the mountains of south west Germany there lies a place rich in story-telling, myth and legend that also gives name to one of Foxdenton’s favourite desserts. Using this as our inspiration we have set about to capture the flavour of Black Forest Gateau.

The first job was to source some exceptional fruit and we were thrilled to find excellent produce on our doorstep at Horwood Cherries. With such an incredible raw ingredient we were able to mimic the classic German dessert by allowing the Cherries to be the star of the show.

Decadent in nature and ruby in colour this is wonderfully rich liqueur makes for a fantastic winter warmer. Serve neat, splash into a glass of fizz or use to macerate fruit for desserts.
