In the mountains of south west Germany there lies a place rich in story-telling, myth and legend that also gives name to one of Foxdenton’s favourite desserts. Using this as our inspiration we have set about to capture the flavour of Black Forest Gateau.
The first job was to source some exceptional fruit and we were thrilled to find excellent produce on our doorstep at Horwood Cherries. With such an incredible raw ingredient we were able to mimic the classic German dessert by allowing the Cherries to be the star of the show.
Decadent in nature and ruby in colour this is wonderfully rich liqueur makes for a fantastic winter warmer. Serve neat, splash into a glass of fizz or use to macerate fruit for desserts.
Stronger, paler & drier than your average Sloe gin, our classic hip flask-filler is full of juniper on the nose giving way to plum sweetness before a long, crisp finish.
All this needs is a hipflask and the outdoors however our Sloe Gin is equally at home topped up with sparkling wine, bitter lemon or quality Tonic

One winter an old friend of Foxdenton asked us for a favour – could we use our expertise in producing Fruit Liqueurs to produce a small batch of Sloe Whisky for them. Always keen to experiment we of course obliged and a few months later were very impressed with the results. It was clear that here was a product that would have serious market appeal but wondered if it made sense to have a Foxdenton Sloe Whisky. After much deliberation (and many a bottle) it was agreed that the point of difference was pronounced enough that we ought to let our customers be the judge. We use a blend of three-year-old whisky to age our Sloes under the whisky for a further 12 months to create a brand-new product, four years in the making. We hope you agree that it was worth the wait…
Using the finest Damsons from Herefordshire, Northamptonshire and Kent, our Damson Gin is rich and jammy with lots of ripe berry on the nose, giving way to almond, allspice and juniper on the palate.

Barrel Aged Bramble & Blackthorn Gin Liqueur.
A true piece of history, the culmination of time, tradition and the finest craftmanship. Foxdenton’s second expression in the limited-edition Barrel-Aged series is a marriage of two liqueurs, one made with Blackberries (Bramble) and the other with the classic Sloe (Blackthorn). Individually aged for 12 months in a pair of retired Kentucky Bourbon casks before blending to create an intensely unique, complex and lightly smoky gin liqueur.
We use a blend of seven botanicals to flavour our multi-award winning London Dry. The result is a deliciously smooth and aromatic Gin that belies its strength.
Best served with quality Tonic, lemon and plenty of ice but also makes a fantastic Dry Martini.
